Steps
Step 1: Prepare the lawn

Step 3: Start mowing in a simple pattern
- Begin at one edge of the lawn and mow in straight, slightly overlapping rows.
- Maintain a steady walking pace and avoid forcing the mower through thick grass.
- Turn carefully at the end of each row and continue until the main area is cut.
Check: Each pass overlaps the previous one slightly. · The mower is cutting evenly without clogging. · You are maintaining control and a comfortable pace.
Step 4: Trim edges and hard-to-reach spots
- Use a grass trimmer or edger for areas the mower cannot reach, such as along fences, trees, and borders.
- Keep the tool away from feet, windows, and fragile objects.
- Work slowly for a clean edge and even appearance.
Check: Uncut areas along edges are trimmed. · Borders look neat and consistent. · No debris has been thrown toward people or property.
Step 5: Finish and clean up
- Turn off the mower and disconnect power or let the engine fully stop before handling it.
- Empty the grass bag or clean off loose clippings if needed.
- Store the mower in a dry, secure place.
